Spice Fetish is a small, home-based business nestled in the beautiful Swan Valley, Western Australia — a food lover's haven just thirty minutes from Perth.
It was here that my fascination with Australian bush spices began. I fell in love with their distinctive, bold flavours, freshness and seasonal character. Over the years, experimenting and cooking with these ingredients inspired me to create a range of cross-cultural spice blends that have become a signature part of Spice Fetish.
“There is nothing quite like the fruity aroma of freshly pounded Tasmanian pepper berries or the beautiful lemony fragrance of lemon myrtle.”
Tasmanian pepper berry and lemon myrtle remain two of my favourite Australian bush spices and feature in many of my bush-inspired blends.
Made With Passion
I am passionate about what I do and continually strive for quality and freshness. Even though it takes more time, I still pound my Tasmanian pepper berries in a mortar and grate my nutmeg by hand. That hands-on approach has always been an important part of Spice Fetish.
15 Years of Farmers Markets
I attended my first farmers market 15 years ago, and over the years Spice Fetish has become known by customers for the quality and freshness of its products.
To this day, I still love the colour and excitement of market day — the hustle and bustle, meeting new customers and catching up with familiar faces, offering food tastings and swapping cooking ideas.
It's all part of market day, and it's all part of the Spice Fetish story.
